Delete Google Play Store Search History
Steps
- Open Play Store.
- Tap Hamburger icon (three vertical lines at the top).
- Choose "Settings" at the bottom.
- Under "General" section, tap the "Clear local search history" option.
That’s all; you’ve removed your local search history. But, here is an important thing to note:
Every Play Store search you have done on your Android device got saved to your Android device and Google account.
The above steps only cleared the search history on your Android device.
And...
...Your search history on your Google account is still available.
If you want to remove your Google Play Search history completely, then you have to remove it from your Google account too.
Please keep in mind that the following steps are same for both the PC and Android. Here are the steps:
- Go to this URL.
- Click on Google Play Store.
- Now you can see all your Google Play searches and all the apps you have visited (sorted by the date).
- From here, you can delete individual or all the history from your Google account.
- If you prefer to delete all completely, then here are the steps you need to do (You may have to repeat the steps twice):
- Click on three vertical dots beside the search box.
- Click on Delete results option.
- In the confirmation popup, select "Delete" option.
That’s all. All the Play Store records are deleted from your Google account.

Steps
- Open the Play Store.
- Tap Hamburger icon (three vertical lines at the top).
- Select My apps & games.
- Navigate to Library tab.
- Now you can see the apps along with the cross icon.
- Just tap the cross icon to remove the app from the list.
- Tap OK on the confirmation message.
- Done. That’s all.
