Use Command Prompt
Using command prompt in safe mode, you can also reset your password used to access your Window XP account. Apply the steps to do that:
· Press the Windows Key + R key to open the Run box.
· Type CMD and then press the Enter.
· Enter net user [account name] [new password] under the command type.
· After that, clear the password and then enter a new password to complete the process.
