Sometimes, you may need to add HTML Web programming language into an email in your Gmail account. This can be anything such as adding a signature with an image or a complete HTML email along with the common HTML elements such tables etc. As Gmail doesn’t allow to directly add HTML code into your emails, you would want to know a method to do it. In this guide, you will find an easy workaround to add and send HTML code from your Gmail account. You just follow the step-by-step instructions provided below.
Steps to Send HTML Emails in Gmail
As said that Gmail doesn’t allow you to directly insert HTML code into an email, however, you can copy the output of an HTML page and paste it into the body of your email in Gmail. Here is a way to do it.
1.) If you wish to add an image to your email, you will first need to upload it to your Web server online. Alternatively, you can also add the image to a photo sharing website. This is being suggested because Gmail doesn’t allow you to insert HTML directly into the email, so you will need to reference images online instead of attaching them directly in the email.
2.) Next step is to create an HTML document using an HTML editor or Notepad. After creating the document, you will need to reference the location of an image online.
3.) Then, you will need to view the HTML output on your Web browser. As you have created the file on your computer using HTML editor or Notepad, you will need to right-click on the file, select the Open with option, and click on your browser in the list.
4.) After that, you will need to highlight all of the content on the page that you wish to add to your email in Gmail account and press Ctrl + C to copy the selection to your clipboard.
5.) Now, open your web browser, sign in to your Gmail account and click on the Compose button to create a new email. Enter your message as per your requirement and then right-click in the body of the email where you wish the HTML output to display in your email. After right-clicking the mouse button, click on the Paste option. The HTML output will appear in the Gmail message.
And, this is how you can easily send an HTML email to a recipient from your Gmail account.
