How to Reset Password in Gmail Through an Automated Call

Did you forget your Gmail password? Don’t worry friends, Gmail comes up with the facility of sending a verification code through an automated call, when you forget your password.

If you are not able to receive a text message on your associated phone number, then you can receive a call from Gmail for the code, which you need to type in at the time of Resetting your Gmail password.

Steps to Reset Password Through An Automated Call

Step 1: Go to gmail.com and click on “Need help” option below the Sign in section.

Step 2: Select the radio button “I don’t know my password” and then enter your email address. Click on “Continue”.

 Step 3: If you remember your last password then type in the password and click on “Continue” or else click on “I don’t remember”.

Step 4: Now choose how you want to reset your password either through a text message orthrough an automated phone call.

Here I have selected through an automated phone call. Click on “Continue”.

Step 5: Enter the code which you have received through the call and click on ” Continue”.

Step 6: Enter your new password and click on “Reset Password”.

Step 7: Now you have successfully reset your password. Click on “Review my recovery info”to check your personal details.
