Gmail smtp settings not working

Gmail  - is a free supported email service developed by Google which can be accessed on web and through mobile app as well for Android and iOs it can  also be accessed through third party by synchronizing email content through POP or IMAP . Initially when the services were started they only offered 1Gigabyte per user however because of cut throat competition it comes with 15 Gigabytes of free storage even though if the individual needs more can buy the same up to 50 Gigabytes including the attachments . If the user wants to send the large file that can be inserted through Google Drive into the message. As it is most commonly used mode of communication there are couple of problems associated with it because of which the individual might not be able to send the emails it could be even because of smtp



Gmail Smtp settings not working – there are couple of reasons for the same which are as following
·         Relaying Denied – email software is set in a way to use password authentication for SMTP serve which is not enable in Apples products by default so enable the same

Login to admin user
Click on Domains on the left
Click on domain in question  
Click on mail
Make sure that it is enabled however if the individual find it difficult to do so one can seek help from the Gmail support number
Check for the SMTP settings – If you get relay denied error and the password is correct which means SMTP authentication is not correct and check for the same

Go to smtp.gmail.com
Use full Gmail Adress
Use Gmail Password
Gmail SMTP port (TLS):587
Gmail SMTP port (SSL):465
Gmail SMTP TLS/SSL required yes
